Taking control when socializing with friends by having them over to your house means that you are doing the cooking and can ensure there are gluten-free options. This will ease your fears of eating gluten by accident and you can relax knowing that you are not asking someone else to make a gluten-free alternative.
In order to stick to this diet, you need to make it easy for yourself in the beginning. If friends want to bring something over, ask for pre-packed gluten-free desserts or gluten-free beer. You may even convert a few of your friends to your new diet!
